Various, Sloane Street area, London

I don’t often do this but I wanted to draw your attention to jewellery and accessory windows as they can often very elaborate or miniature schemes to make such small products stand out. So here are a collection of high-end accessory windows mainly from the Sloane street area in London.

Valentine’s Day Windows 2011

Various, London

I’m writing this post on ACTUAL Valentine’s Day at 9 pm, so I’m obviously not on a hot date. I’m not sulking at all.. But luckily I can still appreciate this day in a much deeper level; on its commercial value. No, it’s never been sexier to buy your loved ones some perfume, jewellery or underwear. Hope you will like the selection of windows I have picked out for you.

Harvey Nichols, Brompton Rd, take this opportunity to sell menswear, food, womenswear and accessories. The white shirt is the stable of these windows, I especially love the ‘O’.

Calvin Klein, King’s Road.

Peter Jones, Sloane’s Square and the tree of love.

Agent Provocateur, Pont Street never disappoint me with their Valentine’s Day windows, cool play on words: ’4 flashes, 1 strip’.

Tiffany & Co, Sloane Street.

Links of London, Sloane Square. Cool retro theme, reminds me of playing this ages ago.

Myla, this is almost trashy..

Summer 2010 Trend Report: Animal Kingdom

Various, London

Very popular thing for this (dare I say hot) summer in window displays is the animal theme. It can be anything from insects at Aquascutum, deadly snakes at Alexander McQueen and domestic animals at Oasis. Here I show you some of my best finds.

Aquascutum, Regent Street. Almost like from the Hitchcock film The Birds.

Cool elephant pedestals, I like the use of bamboo here.

The Butterfly Catchers. Aquascutum used a very limited colour palette for these, next Tiffany & Co on Bond Street and a lot more colourful butterfly window.

I love these Alexander McQueen windows; the mannequins are a cool touch. It is all based on the collection, which is amazing.

And how much do we love dogs? A lot.

Here at White Stuff for their 25th birthday windows:

And here cute poodles at Oasis. Ahhh. although they could have done them a bit more visible.

Designers at Sloane Street Part 2

Various shops, Sloane Street, London

More Christmas windows from the fashion street in London. Enjoy the beauty while it’s still there. Soon it’s all change to sale windows, somebody please surprise me with something good…

It’s gorgeous red heads at Chanel! I love the cardboard head pieces, that have all sorts of Chanel products on them: sun glasses, perfume bottles, shoes, jewellery, etc.  I have a thing about chairs in windows, especially if they’re piled up high. Pile ‘em up Chanel! The only thing I would fault is the gold fabric. It looks a little tacky, and you see this sort of thing in charity shop windows. If I would have done something else with the floor at least.

Paule Ka and a preview of their spring lines. Maybe that explains then unusual yellow background for Christmas. I like the graphic trees.

Neon lights at Gucci in animal shapes.

More excellent paper art this time at Tiffany’s. It’s in such a small-scale for jewellery and so well done.

Luxury and sumptuous at Dolce and Gabbana. Nothing is too much for them.
